How To Get Slim and Stay Slim

How to get slim and stay slim represents a huge challenge to an ever increasing amount of people. A recent study used data from 1993 to 2007 to predict levels of obesity by 2020 if the trends continue at current levels. It revealed that a shocking seven in ten women and eight out of ten men will be obese by 2020, in England.

The vast majority of us struggle immensely with dieting. Yet we want the results of slimmer thighs, calves, slimmer tummy and arms. How to get slim fast and easy is the burning question. We want a magic slimming pill because the constant drag of having to watch what you eat, the measuring and weighing, attending slimming groups, trips to the gym and worst of all, jettisoning those foods you love from your diet, all amount to be a journey no one particularly looks forward too.

They know there will be cravings to deal with, willpower to maintain, new recipes to figure out, foods they’re supposed to eat but don’t really like. The list is endless. For most of us, while a new diet in itself signals a positive change (new healthier foods, smaller portions, healthier choices when eating out, increased self-esteem), the willpower to commit, see it through and then maintain a new healthier eating pattern for the rest of our lives leaves most of us quaking in our boots.

What if I fail?! Sadly, most of us do. The old eating patterns creep back along with the weight we worked so hard to shed. It’s truly sole destroying and no wonder many of us give up even trying after repeated failures.

The shocking thing is, studies have revealed that the dieting failure rate is 90%! The dieting industry is big business and is invested in your failure. There is no money to be made from selling diet products and services to slim people.

Luckily it’s not all doom and gloom. Hypnotherapists seem to have answered the question of how to get slim easily and naturally by developing self-empowering programs to help people achieve their weight loss goals without the need for willpower, denial and cravings.

The great majority of people who try hypnosis for slimming find new confidence around food. They feel empowered when food doesn’t control them any longer and discover that their mind can be trained to view food differently. The how to get slim and stay slim conundrum seems to find a solution for many people in hypnotherapy.

How To Be Lean

How to be lean, lose that stubborn fat and keep it off proves a real challenge for many of us. We look longingly at our lean and lithe friends, wondering how on earth they manage it while cursing ourselves for our weak willpower.

And then there’s the challenge of how to stay lean and be happy throughout our diet. It can seem like a giant hassle, an insurmountable journey of measuring, weighing, watching what you’re putting into your mouth, eating foods that perhaps you don’t really like and denying yourself those foods you love.

Habits seem entrenched and hard to break with cravings driving you mad. You’re trying to be good but not sure how long you can last without those cupboard favourites.

This is the way of the diet. Willpower, focus and determination fuel our initial enthusiasm for losing the weight and staying lean and fit. We may last weeks, months even, but at some point we cave in. Maintaining being Good and managing our eating take so much effort and discipline. Sure enough, slowly the weight creeps back on.

Studies on dieting for weight loss show that the failure rate is an astonishing 90%! So, for the overwhelming majority of us, diets simply don’t work.

The quest of how to be lean and, how to stay lean year round, seems like the illusive hunt for the holy grail. The diet you finally thought held the answers and promised so much eventually left you disappointed. It wasn’t all it promised to be.

Luckily there’s a way where being lean and staying lean doesn’t involve dieting. Wave goodbye to the willpower way! Hypnotherapy is used by an increasing number of people keen to avoid more diet failures and achieve their goals for being lean, happy and healthy. Hypnotherapy allows you to make simple changes allowing you to really savour and enjoy your food without having to censor every food decision.

Powerful hypnotic suggestions of how to be lean, happy and healthy are embedded into your mind, helping you to change your unhealthy eating habits. Hypnotherapy transforms these habits into healthy patterns of eating to keep you lean without the need for willpower and the agonising trying to be Good approach.

Some hypnotherapeutic approaches use a hypnotic appetite suppressant pill, giving none of the side effects of diet pills and helping to calm those false food cravings.

Interestingly, studies show that hypnosis supports people to lose more weight that a dieting approach would achieve but also helps them to maintain their new, lean body helping them to become lean for life. Hypnosis seems to answer the question of how to be lean and stay lean.

Anger Management Birmingham

Actually this not what I do at my Birmingham clinic as the idea of ‘anger management’, as it presupposes when you are angry you have to find a way of managing that anger. It is far better, rather than just to manage your anger, simply not to be angry in the first place.

Anger can destroy your life

Out of control anger can destroy your life as the emotion ‘anger’ can ruin relationships, not just personal ones but work relationships also.

If you really want to stop being angry, then book an appointment and come to my Birmingham clinic. Call 0121 241 0728 or email for more info debbiewilliamsjbw@googlemail.com now

It’s normal to be angry sometimes

It is normal to feel angry from time to time, though out of control anger is rarely a useful feeling and the ‘comedown after anger is very often remorse, regret and guilt, though sadly the damage from the angry outburst has already been done.

When you are angry over a particular issue or your trigger has been pressed it tends to put you in a state where you are not best placed to deal resourcefully with the situation.

Help for stopping your anger in Birmingham

You may not realise the good news is your anger more often than not is simply a habit and lack of skill in handling certain situations.

I have taught 100′s of people just like you at my Birmingham hypnotherapy and NLP clinic over the years new strategies to be able to respond in a much more resourceful way to the old triggers of anger.

email now for more info debbiewilliamsjbw@googlemail.com

Different types of anger

Anger can manifest in many different situations. Sometimes it begins with a relatively insignificant event which then it builds and builds slowly, until anger erupts.

Maybe you are stressed at work or had a stressful day looking after children and everything seems to irritate you and gets on your nerves, winding you up.

Sometimes your anger may be linked to drink, with alcohol tipping you over the edge or drugs, illness as chronic pain or even lack of sleep can also trigger angry outbursts..

Only angry occasionally?

You may find you go weeks without being angry, then you just explode into rage and anger from seemingly nowhere. Very often it is the your partner (or children) suffer the brunt of your temper and angry emotion.

This is how a seemingly placid person will become a ‘monster’ in certain situations, after a drink or behind the wheel of a car, the road rage syndrome.

Help for anger in Birmingham.

I work to teach you how to move away from anger at the unconscious level helping you to feel calm and resourceful at times when you may have been overcome with anger.

By using hypnotherapy, I help you to re-pattern these responses at a deeper, and a more automated level.

Birmingham stopping anger treatment involves…

Rather than simply give you ‘anger management’ techniques, the aim of my stopping anger treatment work is to help you to rapidly recondition the old way of thinking and responding to situations to build in more choice in the present and future.

Stopping anger doesn’t have to dig up the past

The anger management treatment in Birmingham wastes no time going over the past, or talking about your childhood, your parents etc etc,.

Instead we focus upon dealing with the problem as it arises in consciousness, right now and I get useful results quickly.

You will feel better even after one session and the ideal amount of sessions is 2-3 which can be spread over a couple of months.

Birmingham anger management self help

Birmingham hypnotherapist Debbie Williams has recorded a self help hypnotherapy recording ‘Stop being angry’ which can be downloaded for £19 or bought as a CD for £27 it is a complete programme for anger management which you can do yourself at home.http://www.debbiewilliamsassociates.co.uk/stop_anger_road_rage.htm

Insomnia and sleep problems

Insomnia and sleep problems can be helped with hypnotherapy and NLP and insomnia is one of the most common issues I help people with at my Birmingham hypnotherapy practice.

Hypnotherapy in Birmingham for sleep problems

Hypnotherapy in Birmingham, West Midlands for sleep problems and insomnia involves two main strategies.

The first is to train your mind to think and behave sleepily when it is time for sleep. This is teaching you exactly how to alter your the way you do your thoughts (whatever they are). using NLP to overcome your insomnia and sleep problems.

Hypnosis or hypnotherapy is also used to suggest, via a host of techniques , that you sleep when appropriate. Either approach has been successful for people.

At my Birmingham hypnotherapy clinic I use both approaches as a combination of the two seems to be the most effective.

Insomnia and sleep problems treatment

I normally see people between 2 and 3 sessions for this, though on several occasions one session has sufficed.

Birmingham hypnotherapy costs for treatment

The first consultation ideally would be a double one of 2 hours and costs £297. (There are some cheaper options see below)

The 2 hour hypnotherapy session gives you the opportunity to fully explain your situation and for me to gauge the best way to move forward and to explain NLP and the work that I can do in relation to your problem.

The costs include any hypnotherapy recordings which I feel will be relevant to your specific issues. To book email debbiewilliamsjbw@googlemail.com or call 0121 241 0728 office hours. If I’m with a client please leave your details and I will get back to you.

The following hour sessions costs £145.00.

I do take on some concessionary clients each month at £100 per hour and we can do 1 hour sessions and spread them over a 2/3 month time frame.

Birmingham hypnotherapy free help for insomnia

Also my www.debbiewilliams.tv website has lots of self help hypnotherapy videos including some free trances to teach you using NLP how to slow down those thoughts at bedtime ensuring a good nights sleep.

Free hypnotherapy video for insomnia and sleep problems

You can also download a free self hypnosis recording ‘Stop worrying and create a wonderful life’ from this link also.http://debbiewilliams.tv/free-recording/

I can definitely help you with this as sleep problems are one of the most common issues I work with, so if you want to work with me one to one please get in touch.

Please also check out all the free ( or inexpensive self help hypnotherapy ) to help to overcome insomnia and sleep problems on my websites.

Anger Management Treatment Birmingham

Usually people’s anger can be described like somebody is pressing a button on a juke box and the old record is playing the ‘anger tune’ and you have no control over it until the records finished doing its thing.

But then it’s a case of ”oh no why did I do that again” and you think ‘oh I’m never going to get that angry again” but before long you find yourself doing the exact same thing when your buttons are pressed and you see red, because your brain is programmed to do that.

Anger management with hypnotherapy and NLP

Anger is one of the most common issues I help people with and I have over 95% success in reducing or eliminating inappropriate anger from clients lives.

My treatment for anger is by working both consciously help you to get you out of the loops of automated behaviour, to teach you HOW to think and feel more appropriately, and unconsciously, using hypnosis, to re-pattern the behaviour at a deeper level.

Not quite anger management

What I do is not quite ‘anger management treatment’ as I don’t want you to have to ‘manage your anger’ as that requires a lot of conscious effort on your part to ‘manage your anger’.

What I’m aiming for is to re-programme you to think and act differently at the unconscious level so you stop responding like a tiddler having a tantrum every time someone says or does things to upset you.

We don’t need to dwell over past ‘stuff’ as I’m looking to ‘re- wire’ the way you respond to situations so that you have more resourceful responses occurring automatically.

What happens to treat my anger then ?

What we want to do is scratch that ‘anger’ record so that it’s very difficult to play again.

I treat anger by using NLP to put in 3, 4, 5 positive resources into the anger, seeing red, rage state to literally cut it down to size and to give you the tools and beliefs that you need to think ‘differently’ and move on from this.

Then in trance we’ll practise any replacement/behaviours/attitudes or abilities in mind to learn to move on for good.

How long for my anger management treatment?

I normally see people between 2 and 3 sessions for anger management treatment although on several occasions one double session has sufficed.

What does it cost for my anger treatment?

I charge £297 for a double session ( 2 hours) and £145 for follow up sessions of an hour. This includes any recordings that may help you to treat and overcome your anger.

This also gives me the opportunity to hear your details and to explain how NLP and hypnosis will help to change the anger response and really make the most progress in this session so that you walk out feeling different with new strategies and an inner confidence.

I can’t afford the anger treatment

You can do one hour sessions which can be spread over a 2-3 month time frame and I do take on a few concessionary cases for a reduced fee each month.

I do have a CD Stop Anger which you can read more about here; http://www.debbiewilliamsassociates.co.uk/stop_anger_road_rage.htm web shop at £27 or less as an mp3 format .

This may be the only help you need to treat your anger issues and is much cheaper than a one to one, you will have to work through the exercises and practice them to ensure you fully overcome your anger.

Its also a great place to start if you are unsure, clients who’ve come to see me for anger management treatment after buying the ‘stop anger recording’ first usually need one session ( two max).

The ‘stop anger recording’ will give you a clearer understanding of the process of NLP to treat anger and road rage.

Post traumatic stress

Post-traumatic stress, or post traumatic stress disorder or even PTSD as its known is a real mental health condition triggered by exposure to a terrifying event.

It’s in the news with many soldiers suffering from post traumatic stress but it’s something that happens to anyone.

It could be after a physical attack, a mugging or rape or even just an attempt where the person escaped, even a traffic accident can cause post traumatic stress.

You get through the trauma at the time but later on when everything seems to have calmed down then nightmares can happen about the event with flashbacks or the worst bits over and over.

Who gets post traumatic stress?

According to USA Dr Linda Petter ”Seven to eight percent of our population will experience PTSD at some point in their lives.”

Post traumatic stress in soldiers

Soldiers that come back from war are not the person that leaves, to fight in a war that’s in a place that’s hell on earth. Post traumatic stress or PTSD is a big issue with soldiers returning from a war zone.

Soldiers who go to war have been trained to be on the alert for danger, it’s even been described that ”War is a drug, it’s an addiction that you can’t beat or get rid of.”

The soldier is running on adrenaline and when he comes home it’s hard to switch it of.

Post traumatic stress and anger

Many soldiers also come back with big anger issues and have sought treatment for their anger as they may have just snapped and hit their partner.

They feel lost, ashamed and on top of that the ‘movies’ in their head are totally focused on the horrible things they’ve witnessed, playing on repeat over and over.

Post traumatic stress treatment

The good news is most post traumatic stress can be treated quickly and effectively with good NLP and hypnotherapy.

Read more about self help hypnosis and NLP for anger http://www.debbiewilliamsassociates.co.uk/stop_anger_road_rage.htm

Getting back on my horse

Help to get back on a horse after an accident or incident is quite a common problem I’ve dealt with at my Birmingham , West Midlands NLP and Hypnotherapy Practice, says Debbie Williams NLP trainer and hypnotherapist.

It can normally be sorted out in 2/3 sessions which dissolve your fear of riding and rebuild your confidence around horses.

I’ve worked with many sports people over the years including Olympic medalists helping them to perform their very best and go for gold.

To book a session to overcome your fear of riding and help with getting back on your horse please email debbiewilliamsjbw@googlemail.com or call me on 0121 241 0728, please leave a message if I am with a client and I will get back to you.

Typical enquiries about the fear of riding again are like;

Hi, I was thrown from my horse June 2010 and totally shattered my ankle, which is completely healed but I’ve been unable to get back on my horse and ride ever since.

Can you help me get back on my horse please and help me overcome my fear of riding? How long will it take and how much will it cost? I feel so guilty as I’m wasting a brilliant horse because of my fear.

More emails about getting back on my horse;

The hospital I was initially under made a bit of a mess of things, recently I had my leg reconstructed by another hospital and am due to have the plaster cast of shortly nearly a year after initial injury.

I’m finding the fear of getting back on my horse is growing more and more each day and I’m thinking ”I don’t think I can get back on and ride”

More case studies ”getting back on my horse”

”The accident resulted in my horse having to be put down, I was in a coma and I think it’s a blessing that I can’t remember a thing, but I’ve not been able to ride competitively since.”

”I have now got a different horse, more of a plodder, but the thought of getting on board and riding again fills me with dred!”

”Do you think you could help me overcome this fear of getting back on a horse with hypnotherapy and if so how much is a session and how many sessions does it usually take?”

Self hypnosis to overcome fear of riding

I have a CD available from the online shop called Ultimate confidence, which can benefit horse riders and help build their confidence to ride again. http://www.debbiewilliamsassociates.co.uk/unltimate_confidence.htm

It costs just £19 as a download it may well be all you need to help you to get back on your horse as it is like a complete therapy session for a fraction of the cost of a one to one and can be listened to repeatedly to compound positive results.

More help to get back on your horse

Ideally one to one sessions would be the best way forward normally it would take between two to three sessions,(which can be spread over 2/3 months) using a large range of hypnotherapeutic and neuro-linguistic approaches to help build confidence, eliminate negative feelings from the past.

Getting you back on the horse and feeling good about it also. It’s quite a common issue with riders losing confidence after an accident and it can be overcome very effectively with NLP and hypnosis.

NLP for fear of riding

The first consultation can take up to 90 minutes, but I only charge for one hour (£145) as this gives you the opportunity to explain your particular situation regarding your fear of riding or loss of confidence in riding.

We can gauge the best way to move forward and to use NLP and hypnosis in relation to your fear of riding and getting back on your horse again.

The following hour costs £145.00. (£100 concessionary fee) and payment is due at the end of each session. Client hours are normally Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays.

To book a session to overcome your fear of riding and help with getting back on your horse please email debbiewilliamsjbw@googlemail.com or call me on 0121 241 0728, please leave a message if I am with a client and I will get back to you.

NLP What is it?

This is a question I get asked over and over says Birmingham NLP master practitioner and trainer Debbie Williams.

I like to give the simple explanation that NLP is like finding the owners manual for your brain, many times our mind seems to do things in opposition to what we feel we want to do.

NLP Neuro -Linguistic -Programming

Neuro refers to the nervous system and our five senses:

Linguistic refers to the language that we use;

Programming is borrowed from computers.

An easy way to explain NLP is, for example, when you were at school you were taught what to think, but not how to think.

Discovering NLP is like finding the owner’s manual for your mind with instructions on how to change thoughts feelings and behaviours for better more useful ones.

NLP and Paul McKenna

“Learning the skills of NLP for myself has taken the work I do privately with individuals to a whole new level. I use it myself continually in all areas of my life – personal and professional” Paul McKenna

So what can NLP ( neuro linguistic programming ) do?

NLP gives you the tools to master your emotions allowing you to changes thoughts, feelings behaviours and to add new ones just as systematic as the old ones.

NLP; What else?

NLP is the most powerful communication tool to date, enabling you to study the patterns of human behaviour and how to influence others.

It is the study of excellence, offering you paths to success as you move beyond real, or imagined, limitations, ultimately achieving personal freedom.

NLP – neuro linguistic programming gives you access to your unconscious mind for accelerated learning and personal development. PLUS LOTS, LOTS MORE!

Try some NLP for free

Birmingham NLP practitioner Debbie Williams has put many videos on her you tube channel in which she explains NLP in relation to different issues. http://www.youtube.com/user/DebbieWilliamsNLP

As well as a free download ‘Stop worrying and create a wonderful life’ http://debbiewilliamsassociates.co.uk/

Debbie Williams is a Birmingham NLP Master practitioner and trainer as well as being a fully qualified hypnotherapist, who practices from her offices in Birmingham B75 West Midlands.

Birmingham based Debbie has also recorded over 30 self help NLP hypnotherapy products which you can work on your issue at home for a fraction of the cost of visiting a Birmingham hypnotherapist.http://debbiewilliamsassociates.co.uk/self_help_cds.htm

Is cocaine addiction a disease?

I specialise in helping people over come many addictions including cocaine addiction, but I would argue that it is not a disease.

I have a Birmingham, west midlands practice where I have helped many overcome their addiction to cocaine.

Birmingham cocaine addiction specialist attacked

After a long weekend away training and updating my skills I awoke to this email;

Shame on you for profiteering from this illness. ” what does it cost to overcome my cocaine addiction”?

Totally discussed, if you honestly believe that a recording will help someone beat this you are deluded and if not you are knowing selling something you know won’t work.

Shocking

Birmingham cocaine addictions experts reply

This is what I replied with ( if I wasn’t so tired after a weekend of work I may of been more polite)

You can have your “shame on you” back lady 10 fold.

You know nothing about me and the work I do

At least I’m trying to help

And I’m not deluded Thank you

lots of people have either stopped completely abusing cocaine (or at least reduced their cocaine abuse) using my “stop cocaine abuse” recording which is ONLY £19 with FULL MONEY BACK GUARANTEE

So I’m not deluded or profiteering from anyone as those it doesn’t work for can have their money back.

COCAINE DEALERS DON’T REFUND PEOPLES MONEY DO THEY?

£19 is a small price to pay for those it does help http://www.debbiewilliamsassociates.co.uk/stop_cocaine_abuse.htm

It won’t work for everyone, but has been very helpful for many weaning themselves of their cocaine addiction.

IT COST ME HOURS UPON HOURS OF MY TIME TO WRITE THE SCRIPT TO MAKE IT AS EFFECTIVE AS POSSIBLE , plus studio hire, editing ect ect to produce.

ITS THE COCAINE DEALERS YOU SHOULD BE ATTACKING NOT ME

GO AWAY and attack someone else and leave me alone

DEBBI

NLP Hypnotherapy Birmingham For Confidence

NLP hypnotherapist Debbie Williams from Birmingham shares a simple yet powerful NLP based technique which will help you to feel more confident right now .

If you’d like to experience a hypnotic trance using NLP within it you can download a free hypnosis recording from www.debbiewilliamsassociates.co.uk

Here is a simple NLP technique you can use right now.

Ive used this to established actors and performers who need a little boost of confidence before a performance, it will help you with increasing your confidence.

Even established performers feel a little self-conscious sometimes. so lets get started…think of three times in your life when you felt very powerful and in control. Write them down with a brief phrase or sentence describing each.

Now stand up and think of the first situation, its easier if you close your eyes. Recall it in full color with sound and anything else that could make it real to you. At the moment when you feel fully back in that moment, click your fingers or squeeze your wrist with your one hand and say, “Yes” Do this with each of the three memories.

Remember, you want to anchor the feelings by clicking your fingers or squeezing your wrist when you feel the memory at its most intense moment.

NLP, Stacking an Anchor

In NLP, this process is called stacking an anchor and you can fire it off as needed. The next time you are in a situation requiring confidence, click your fingers or squeeze your wrist and say, “Yes!”

The more you practice and add good feelings to your anchor the stronger and more permanent it becomes being there for you when you need it.

Just as sure as Pavlov’s dogs salivated when they heard that bell, because they had been conditioned to link the two things together as a bell was rung every time they were fed you can train youself to link confidence surging through you when you fire of your anchor.

Free NLP for You

Please visit wwwdebbiewilliamsassociates.co.uk to get your free self hypnosis recording “stop worrying and create a wonderful life”
